IO3 RED Roadmap

The platform allows users to view information and supportive introductory films that can help them with digital tools in daily life. We are thinking, for example, of making payments via the internet, registering for a course, etc. Many of these things are increasingly going through the computer today. This is not always easy for people with limited digital skills. The RED platform offers concrete instructional videos through a number of categories (school, housing, money, work, etc.), which users can follow step by step to guide them through the procedure. Because we are unable to offer all procedures in this project, a solution was sought by developing a roadmap.

A guide that enables people to get help from other specialized services. Because users would find their way in this large offer, it was decided in this project to run this roadmap in parallel with the platform. For example, there is always a link per category on the platform to the roadmap with services and their offerings within this category.

For the development of this IO2, the following steps have been taken:

Action 1 (implemented): A definitive format was determined with the partnership in project meeting 2. The package leader JKVG had worked out a number of proposals. One of them was chosen. In consultation with the group, the proposal was worked out in detail. It was decided to link the roadmap to the platform and to place it in a category. In this way, users per category immediately end up in the right part of the roadmap.

Action 2 (implemented): JKVG has prepared an input document with all parameters that the roadmap must contain: category, name of organization, data of organization (address, telephone, etc.), description of the activity, ...

Action 3 (implemented): The input documents were completed per partner (per country) based on the categories chosen in the platform. Each partner has set up a database of organizations and their data within the various categories in their own country and region.

Action 4 (implemented): On the platform, a button (link) was provided per country and per category to the roadmap of this specific category. A sheet was made for each organization, on which all information from the organization can be found.

Action 5 (implemented): The input documents that have been prepared per partner (see action 3) are now transferred to the platform within the correct category of the roadmap. The roadmap is now open to the public on the website. All information entered so far is available to the customer.
